Socially Responsible
Since early 2021, Darmmess has embraced willingly the social enterprise business model. Our priorities became centered around supporting and empowering our local community. We make up for the marketing and distribution gaps in the value chain of our farmers while providing them with professional technical assistance around the best organic agricultural practices.
First Cold Extracted
We designed our own modern process whereby our olives aren’t pressed but extracted by a centrifuge. The no water, no heat commitment preserves intact all components behind our special aromas, flavors and scents. Here also, we get a lower production for the same amount of olives but a much higher quality.

Deir Mimas is a picturesque village in southern Lebanon, known for its unspoiled beauty, ancient heritage, and deep connection to olive cultivation. Overlooking the majestic Litani River and situated near the historic Beaufort Castle, built by the Crusaders, Deir Mimas offers a glimpse into Lebanon’s rich history and culture. The village is home to a staggering 130,000 olive trees, some over 600 years old, and even a few that are believed to be as ancient as 2,000 years. These trees, deeply rooted in the history of the region, have witnessed generations of olive farming, shaping the village’s identity and economy. Nestled in the hills at an altitude of 580 meters, Deir Mimas benefits from a unique climate and fertile, clay-rich white soil that provides the perfect environment for olive trees to thrive. This ideal setting, coupled with traditional olive mills and time-honored harvesting techniques, allows Deir Mimas to produce olive oil that is truly exceptional.
At the heart of this olive-rich landscape is Darmmess, a premium extra virgin olive oil brand that draws from the village’s ancient olive groves.
